The customer said yes on Tuesday evening by replying ok to the quote. Then nothing, from their side. No confirmation, no date, and by the weekend they are wondering whether you are actually coming.
On your side the yes is in a text thread, the date is in your head and the address is on a PDF somewhere in Sent.
When a quote is accepted, the job goes into Google Calendar with the address, the job notes from the quote and the customer's number in the event. The customer gets a confirmation that evening with the date and a rough arrival window. The day before, they get a reminder, and it asks them to make sure the water can be turned off, or the car moved, or whatever that job needs.
At 6.30 the next morning you get the day's list. Three jobs, in order, with the postcodes and a route link.
The customer who said ok on Tuesday stopped wondering on Tuesday. We set this up on top of the calendar you already use. Nobody needs a new app.
