Invoice sent before you leave the drive

Tick the job done on your phone. The invoice goes out with a payment link, and reminders follow at 7, 14 and 30 days.

Xero can send an invoice in about four clicks. The trouble is that the clicks happen at 9pm on a Sunday, two weeks after the job, when you finally sit down to the pile.

By then the customer has half forgotten how good the work looked on the day. Late invoices get paid late. Attention fades.

Here the invoice goes out when you tick the job done on your phone. It is built from the quote and the approved variations, raised in Xero or QuickBooks under the right customer, and sent with a payment link. Card or bank transfer, their choice.

Then it waits. A polite note at 7 days, a firmer one at 14, and at 30 a plain message that says the invoice is a month overdue and asks for a date. You see who has paid and who has not without opening the accounts software. Nothing goes out to someone who has already paid.

The invoice for the job you finished at 3pm is in their inbox by 3.05. We wire this into the accounts package you already pay for. What is your average gap between job done and invoice sent?
