The customer ordered a sign three weeks ago. They have heard nothing since the deposit went through. So they ring. You are spraying, you miss it, they ring again at 16:40, you call back at 18:00 and say it is ready on Friday. Eleven minutes of the day for one sentence.
There are three moments a customer wants to hear about. The job has started. It is ready. It is on its way. The system sends a message at each one, a plain text or WhatsApp with their name, the job and one line.
The trigger is whatever already happens on the floor. Someone moves the job card to the ready column, or ticks a box on a tablet, or changes a cell in the schedule sheet. That tick sends the message. If it ships with DPD or Royal Mail, the tracking link goes with it.
Every message is logged against the job. When a customer says nobody told them, you can see that they were told, at 14:20 on Tuesday, and that they opened it.
This is the kind of thing we build. It runs in your own accounts, from the number and the mailbox you already use.
